The last installment in the latest YouTube documentary on 1950s youth gangs.

This final installment looks at the tragic August 22-23, 1959 gang war in Manhattan Lower East Side.

Interviews with David Van Pelt ("Brooklyn Rumble"), Boabdil Vazquetelles Jr. ("Mockingbird: A Puerto Rican Warrior On The Streets Of New York"), ASP-TV's Kwame Welsh, and Richard Jacoby ("Conversations With The Capeman") are featured.

The video also looks at the "clean teen" culture of the late 1950s and why Dick Clark promoted it in response to the news stories of 1950s youth gang tragedies.

Also, interviews with senior citizens who were "everyday" "average " teens of the 1950s give viewers insight as to why the "average" 1950s teen, and hence, average modern day senior citizen, tends to be unfamiliar with these major news stories of the 1950s.
